Physiotherapy sessions can help identify issues associated or causing developmental delays. These sessions are based on the infant’s individual needs and are integrated with family for a realistic outcome.
Does your child need Physiotherapy Intervention?
The following conditions and symptoms may indicate the need for physiotherapy intervention with your child.
- Premature babies
- Delayed developmental milestones
- Flattened head
- Clumsiness
- Floppy or rigid joints
- Hip dysplasia (clicking hips)
- Torticollis (looking to one side)
- Erb’s Palsy or Brachial Plexus Lesion
- Talipes (mis-shaped foot)
- Abnormal walking pattern
- Poor posture
- Casting or Post-fracture rehabilitation
- Cystic Fibrosis and airway clearance
Common Developmental Milestones:
- 4 months: rolling
- 6 months: sitting
- 9 months: crawling
- 10 months: standing
- 12 months: walking
