Medical Heat Mouldable Orthotics

At Thirroul Physiotherapy We Stock Vasyli Medical Orthotics which are made of EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate). This is a microcellular foam that is used in the midsole of quality made sports footwear.

Our skilled Physiotherapists are able to heat mould these pre-fabricated orthotics allowing for a custom fit for patients at different activity level, foot size and shapes.

The Orthotics do not have to be heat moulded immediately and depending on your experience with orthotics your Physiotherapist may advise you to wear the orthotics for a week or two before moulding them.

This is to ensure there is not drastic change in foot stability which can sometimes lead to arch pain if introduced suddenly. Heat Moulding does allow for fine tuning the orthotic and a customisable fit.
